We are looking for thoughtful, engaging, and beautifully written book reviews of around 2000 words. Please submit your review of works of fiction or poetry or creative nonfiction through our book review form at Submittable: https://hongkongreview.submittable.com/submit.
Your review should be able to be read on Pages on Mac or Microsoft Office Word. Please include the following information in your cover letter and at the top of your review: Title of book, author's name, name of press, publication date, your name and your email address. Please also include your contact information (email and phone number, if available) and a brief bio (≤100 words) that we can use if your review is accepted. We will contact you for a portrait-style photo once your review will be published on the website of The Hong Kong Review.
All reviews sent to us must be previously unpublished. Each issue of The Hong Kong Review will include at most two pieces of reviews published online during the three months prior to the specific issue’s date of publication.
